「There was a problem for 3 days of my stay and it sounded like i was sleeping inside a subway station - screeching metal on metal in random occurrences all day and night. They finally got it fixed it for my last night. Basic hotel that looks industrial in parts, and is fine for the area. Quick walk to Old Town, McDonalds and many coffee shops.」

「The stuff was very friendly and the hotel was very cute decorated. It's in the middle of the old town so you can reach everything very easily.」

「Extremely mediocre experience. The rooms were ok. I had no internet in my room, so I had to go to my friends room to get internet. Just poor range I guess. The pool is on the roof, not indoor as stated. It’s tiny, can maybe fit 3-4 people, and there was only 2 sun beds next to it. There was no balcony on the rooms. The area around was fine, a lot of close restaurants and shopping. You can walk to the beach but it’s a bit far honestly, and you wouldn’t really wanna stay on the rooftop pool for an...

She seemingly knows every guest at the property by name and was invaluable in providing local knowledge, hiring taxis and providing any service a guest might require. The entire staff made my stay an immense pleasure and I heartily recommend the hotel to anyone considering such a visit.」

「The male front desk who works the grave night shift was unnecessarily unpolite and rude. After a long flight, I was not expecting to receive unwelcoming at the hotel. It was also unclear why the front desk requested to keep my passport with their possession when payment was paid in full.」

「Kata noi is crowded with expensive large hotels… and the Mantra, that provides everything to a bargain price. Perfect location to beach, restaurants, shopping within 2 minutes slow walk. The hotel is modern, neat and newly redecorated where we could sleep well. Nice hangout in bar and several good restaurants in the calm alley for either breakfast ( try the bagel) or dinner ( go to the blue shark). The best hotel in Kata noi for a few nights when you don’t crave a pool.」
