A very convenient way to see several Mt Fuji locations in a one day trip from Tokyo. We lucked out and had good visibility all morning! I wish the first stop at Lake Kawaguchi was a bit longer as those were the best views of the day and there was a really good gift shop but not enough time to wait in the very long line! I also loved that this tour went to Chureito Pagoda as the views from the pagoda are iconic (but also require a hike up about 400 steep stairs -worth it)! I would recommend this tour!

We had a brilliant day. All of the stops were worth visiting. We had planned 3 opportunities to view Fuji, to take account of the weather, and this was the best one. Information pre tour and from our guide, Vicki was excellent. Really well organised with plenty of time at each stop. We were lucky to see Mt Fuji so it made it one of the most memorable days of our trip. We would recommend this tour.

Choose one of the less expensive ones instead ... because it honestly doesn't seem to make a difference. Since most operators offer a very similar program and the reviews for all of them are quite good, I booked this one based on a recommendation from a travel blog I like, even though it was double the price of the cheapest offer. I thought I'd get a better tour for it, but honestly our guide just dumped us at the individual viewpoints - only explaining a little bit about them on the bus, which was hardly audible in the back, because she spoke very fast and the speakers were not loud enough. She did not go with us but expected us to be back at certain times, saying the bus would leave without us, if we were more than 5 minutes late. I understand that as a group tour we ought to follow a schedule, but she did not even bother to check, whether we all made it back, but rather said that we should check ourselves (which is great when you are traveling on your own and have no one to check f

The transportation was good except the meeting point is not easy for us to find the place especially so when it was a first trip to Japan. As for the tour price, we realised it was quite highly priced as compared to the ones quoted by our hotel which is also much convenient when the pick up is at our hotel. The view for mt fuji was not as prominent when I compare with my friends’ tour booked from he hotel. Both driver and guide were friendly. However, I feel the tour could have been more interesting and informative if the guide can explain in details to all of us in a group instead of just to those who are walking with her. We often missed out on her explanation of the tour because we were always at the last due to our walking.

The 4th stop had no vending machines or running water at that stop. The guide did mention this but I think some on the tour didn’t understand the nature of this. The guide did everything correctly but I would recommend they in the future the guide should explicitly say “if you want to buy any drinks or snacks the third stop is the final stop to do so there is no chance to get food or drink at the fourth stop. Again this isn’t anything the guide did wrong, just suggesting additional emphasis.
