Great trip. Very good guide in Ronda (Dacha). Highly recommend. Gorgeous place and views. The trio en route back to Setenil was an interesting interlude - there was a short time with a guide who directed us to some highlights. He was entertaining but not as easy to understand. Coach driver good - a couple was late arriving then late back when in Sentinel. Very annoying for him and the rest of us.

Tania, our guide in Ronda was super, she gave us a lot of useful information about the bridge, where to take good pictures and also about the history of the place. Highly recommend visiting Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas. The thing that was not to our liking was the transportation. The bus was old, the air conditioning was not working properly and a chair was broken. At first the bus was late to pick us up, about 20 minutes, after receiving multiple messages to be at the meeting spot 10 minutes before the scheduled departure. When it was time to leave Ronda, the bus broke and we had to wait for another bus for around 50 minutes. To conclude, the places were amazing, but the transportation there was not the best.

The locations were fantastic. But the bus was late. No air conditioning. Then it broke down in Ronda. They got another bus there to take us to Setenil within 40 minutes but we had to spend two hours there so the original bus could be repaired. We were supposed to be back by 6:00 but it looks like we won’t be back until nearly 9:00 which ruined our evening plans back to Seville.

A Fantastic Day Trip to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas with Seven I had the pleasure of taking a day trip to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas, and I cannot recommend it enough, especially with our guide, Seven. From the moment we started the tour, Seven was amazing—he shared so many interesting facts about the places we passed during the van ride, which really brought the journey to life. The guided tour in Ronda was a highlight. Seven’s knowledge of the area was impressive, and he took the time to explain the history and significance of each site, making it a truly enriching experience. He also gave excellent recommendations for things to do during our free time, pointing us to the best spots around town. Throughout the day, Seven made sure that everyone in the group felt comfortable and had a fantastic time. His warm and engaging personality made the trip even more enjoyable, and it was clear he truly cared about making the experience memorable for all of us.

I read all the great reviews for this trip and was so excited but I swear I took a different trip. Do not book this unless you plan to do the guided tour in Ronda option. Our bus driver did not welcome us or inform us of where we were going(we were not updated once on the 30 min delay in leaving while waiting for some of our group to arrive or of the change in the order of itinerary). I have been on many tours and even on unguided ones we have been provided with instructions. We were not provided with a guide on the bus or in Setenil. Again, based on other reviews, do not do this unless you take the FULLY guided tour.

it states there was a guide on the bus. there is not. just the driver. I got on and was told nothing until 1.5 hours later when we arrived in Ronda. I even checked to make sure I was on the right bus and received a terse confirmation. There was a guide turned up at Ronda and Sentinel. Dash in Ronda did try and was sufficient. very little information in Sentinel. Same silence on the way back -then the bus driver is arguing with someone on the phone and we are turning around and going back. no communication-no one told anything. everyone sitting g there wondering g( turns out to people were late and left behind - bus driver did count twice but another l passenger said there were two extra females not on bus earlier so appears we had stowage who caused the issue.) disappointing day

The bus had no legroom, was very uncomfortable. There was no information provided for Ronda if you chose the unguided option- some basic information is expected even if not taking the guided tour. Guide wasn't able to give enough information about the places visited, seemed very unexperienced. It was essentially just a transportation service and not worth the money at all.
