What you can expect

Your private tour will start from your hotel or cruise ship, passing by some scenic countryside spots including Livadeia and Thebes, both great, ancient cities. You'll also pass by the village of Arachova, which is a popular winter holiday destination with its ski center.

Then it's on to Delphi where you will stop and visit both the archaeological site with ancient theatre and museum. Delphi was once the “center of the universe” according to Zeus, king of the Gods. You will also visit the Oracle of Apollo, the Omfalos, the temple of Athena Pronaia, the Kastaleia Spring and see some magnificent artifacts and statues, such as Eniochos the charioteer, the twin brothers Kleobis and Biton and the Sphynx of Naxos.

Then it's time for lunch and the chance to taste some famous Greek cuisine at a traditional restaurant or tavern. You can choose from a variety of the most well-known Greek dishes. After your lunch you'll go and see some fantastic views of mountains Parnassus and Itea, before making your way back to Athens.
