Fast track wasn’t fast track. We got on the same lift at the same time as non-fast track people.There’s 15-20mins info before you can get on the lift so bear that in mind if you want to see sunset. The lift was stuffy and offered no view of outside. The 54th floor did offer good view but very windy. It wasn’t worth the doubled the price for fast track and 54th access. The whole experience was well overpriced. I had a 7 hour dessert experience for the almost the same price. It was impressive how they built the Palm but the view wasn’t worth the cost to just to see it. We booked the 6pm and used the monorail which was overcrowded and over priced compare to metro. It should be more frequent at prime rush hour. Also, if you are staying at the palm, beware of the monorail closes very early and ridiculous connection from the stop to the tram through a car park! So, you have to rely on taxi if you want to stay out late! The monorail is a lot more expensive than metro and runs every 15 mins.
