Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation and the Daintree were absolutely beautiful and our guide Mel was engaging and knowledgeable, thanks Mel. It was a wonderful, but long day and unfortunately the bus seats were really tiny and cramped. The lunch was ok, but instead of being seated inside under ceilings fans (tables were all empty) we were put outside under a shade sail but it was still unpleasantly hot with the sun burning through the shade cloth. Lastly just a small one, the description says morning and afternoon tea included, but it was only morning tea. We did stop at the ice-cream shop to purchase our own ice-cream in the afternoon which was lovely and really I didn't need any more to eat.

Mick was a wonderful guide.. brimming with information throughout the day. We came away with a much deeper understanding of the Daintree Rainforest, Mosman Gorge and Cape Tribulation.. the included morning tea and lunch were both first rate. So why not 5 stars? Primarily because when the tour has 10 people the four people in the back bench of the van are really squished. And for 10 hours that is just no fun. Another minor point is the ice cream stop on the way back was not very good.. we’ve had some remarkably good ice cream and gelato in Australia.. and given what we’ve seen is possible.. this was really not good..
