Do not waste your money on this tour . At least not with our guide Edward . He was a nice person BUT we expected to be taken to the best venues - and we had hoped for the money , we would at least have a table reserved for us . NO . He basically stopped at the venue - threw us inside and said good luck finding a seat -see you in 40minutes . The music at each venue was mediocre and there were no seats . We were lucky if we could sit down and it took 20 minutes to get a drink . For this price , it should be MUCH better organized . You could do this type of crawl on your own

Went to four or five bars on Dirty 6th and spent about 30 or 45 min in each. Each one had a different vibe with a different type of music and if you've never experienced 6th St before, it was worth it probably just for that. The group dynamic was off and half of our group didn't really participate and was a buzzkill, and our guide was telling some pretty corny jokes in the beginning, but he was a cool guy and definitely warmed up and became more relaxed towards the end of the tour. All in all, a decent way to see some music in Austin if you're in town for only one or two nights.
