On the plus side, the staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful! The AC also worked quite well which was appreciated. You can’t beat the walkable location only a few minutes by foot, to all of the restaurants and shopping.
On the negative side, the hotel is old and it’s probably challenging to keep up with the maintenance. Our room had dingy carpet and the finishes on cabinets was pretty beat up. Our bathroom was extremely close to the bed which wasn’t ideal for us.
I think that the rating is likely dependent on the room that you end up with as some rooms looked quite nice online. Ours wasn’t one of them.
