Had a great stay at this lovely little hotel. Staff and breakfast were excellent . Room was good, hotel is unique and forest theme is lovely. Building is old and in need of some work doing to bring it up to scratch but this is clearly work in progress. Recommended.

A lovely little hotel with a lot of character, in the heart of the old city, just a couple of minutes' walk from York Minster. The staff were pleasant, the room was charming, and the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely stay, great location that is the best thing about the stay. Clean and tidy, good breakfast. The room was very noisy hearing from the street early in the morning but that is not the hotels fault.
