If you have bad luck with weather and Connor go out on hikes, there is not a lot to do on the property, as there are no onsite water sports; bikes available for free are not in good condition; town is easily walkable in relatively little time. If you have good weather, than these factors noted are minimized in impact. In retrospect, we would have continued on and stayed in Ålesund for more options on a very rainy day. On the plus side, breakfast was good and free, easy parking. Dinner was expensive but good and the person who waited on our table (from Buenos Aires) was really nice. Room was okay— functional for a one night stay.

"Very remote village. The only(?) restaurant in town is the hotel restaurant. Good location to stopover and cut my drive from Geiranger back to Alesund in half. Hotel is nice. Good breakfast in the morning."
