You can walk to the beach in about 10-15 minutes from the hotel. You can’t get into the water, but the pebbles on the beach are all beautiful and unique which may be great souvenirs.

"Beautiful hotel and comfortable and spacious room. However, the main attraction which is the Taroko park is completely closed because of the earthquake in April 2024. Therefore, there's not much to do in Xincheng.."

Xincheng has nothing special to offer except that it's very convenient to stay there if you want to enjoy Taroko National Park.
