You can ask for shuttle to drop you off at the Residence after you check in at Novotel by the train station. Not when you check out. But, the walk with luggage was about 15 min, it was not bad.
The facility is old. No question about that. It was well maintained. We did not have any problem.
There are some stairs you must climb before you can reach an elevator. And the elevator is small, 4 people is probably the maximum it would fit.
There is a facility person and two vending machines on site, not much else. However, you probably can get everything you need within 10 to15 min walk.
For other help, such as calling a taxi, you can dial 9 on the phone in the room, (yes they still have landline) to ask the operator at Novotel to call it for you.
It is a nice quiet place for a short stay.

We stayed at the hotel for the Monza Formula 1, the hotel was perfect, quite spacious room, good car parking with ample spaces and very near to track
