"This was a great experience to have a holiday in a private villa with your own pool overlooking the beach. The villa's are starting to become a bit run down and need some updating, however they are kept very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a lot of rubbish on the beach, making it hard to enjoy with the kids, but this seems to be a problem throughout the island. Explorar Koh Samui – Adults Only Resort and Spa

"Explorar is really great, after 12 days couldn’t fault it. Staff are lovely and resort is amazing. Only suggestion would be that they should run the activities like yoga etc daily rather than weekly and they should run more shuttles to the market and chaweng. "

"We have had amazing time while staying at The Hive in Lamai Beach. Could the rooms (especially the bathroom) do with a refresh? Probably, but the beautiful staff and wonderful location. The staff, from reception, to restaurant, to housekeeping and grounds could not be more welcoming or friendly. I look forward to returning sometime"
