"We come to portland often, and we absolutely love to stay at the benson. It's a beautiful historic hotel, with lots of amenities and a great staff. Easy parking across the street. And lots of shops near by. There's also a lot of restaurants when then walking distance and the food downtown is exceptional. I highly suggest A stay at this beautiful hotel."

"Room was clean, beds comfortable. Lovely large kitchen with dishes, large refrigerator, full stove. The host was very friendly and helpful and recommended a fantastic restaurant (Sandee Thai) and some good hiking trails. The hotel is right downtown, fun for walking around. The heater was noisy and bathroom floor very cold, otherwise loved it. There are nice air b-n-b's around but loved being downtown in charming Silverton. Looks to be a good restaurant connected to hotel but was closed during...
