"Three nights of pure indulgence - the food was exquisite with an a la carte 5 course evening meal. The spa is lovely - everything looks brand new. Spa treatments were also available and can recommend the full body massage from Susanna. We were looked after by a very attentive and friendly Anita every evening. This is a boutique hotel not to be missed in a very central location, by the river and a few minutes walk from the main Penkbahn gondola in Mayrhofen."

"A lovely hotel, recently modernised with excellent spa and wellness areas. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and were very helpful. We loved the system they had for evening meals- a menu to order from at breakfast. Great choices for vegetarians and vegans too, all very tasty and beautifully presented. A ten minute walk to the gondola and town was an easy stroll and the ski lockers were also nice and clean. Happy to recommend this hotel."

"Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. "From the delicious meals to the excellent customer service, we felt that we were had boarded a luxurious ocean cruise and rather than checked into a hotel in the Alps. One can walk to hiking trails and jump on the cable cars directly from the hotel. Gerlos is a tiny tourist village filled with only hotels and restaurants, but there is a decent supermarket for grabbing drinks and snacks.
