「Stayed three nights with my wife. Being very close to Wasdale, 40min drive, it is convenient for climbing Mt. Scafell Pike. Room is spacious with a splendid view. One down point is that the pub on the ground floor is sometimes, on Friday evening in particular, noisy. 」

Room on whole was clean although stain on duvet cover. Bed comfy. Not staff at hotel so you had to phone through to another hotel for assistance. No food available and a list of take away places for breakfast. 」

We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack.
