「We liked everything about the property. It's brand new, extremely clean, close to everything. A lift and car park was on the property, eady to access. Close to the centre. Niki the manager welcomed us with open arms. Niki was so friendly, kind and very helpful. You wouldn't find a better host or a better apartment. 」

「Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. 」

「Great location right by the harbor. Taxis won’t go to the place due to the narrower streets but you will be dropped off 2-3 blocks away and get to walk to this great location. Graffiti seems to be common but don’t let that deter you. Every morning we walked two minutes to get to the harbor and do our daily morning walk and every evening we had a fantastic dinner by the harbor. 「My family of 7 adults stayed here. It was wonderful. We all had our own rooms and beds. It can sleep 4 couples comfortably. Alex was great to work with and Zoe was there to show ys the keys and gave us lots of local information and even goodies to eat .. the location hasa rooftop view of the entire old town waterfront. 「This place was very nice and clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable beds. Be aware, it is on a very busy street, but still was so nice! Walking distance to the port, maybe 10-12 minutes, restaurants and small stores plus larger ones very close. Bus station to Reythymo-Heraklion also within walking distance. 「Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. 「Gorgeous hotel and pool area, rooms were spotless and modern, location was good for being close to the beach but there wasn’t a great deal going on around the hotel (I.e. restaurant or bars nearby) and the pool bar closed at 6pm, stopping serving food at 5.15. 」
