"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Great place, very simple and well stocked for any needs. Lots of free streaming channels. Fans, AC and heat available to make yourself comfortable. By no means a concern with the stay itself but if you stay here i would recommend personal means of transportation. "

"Just want to leave a quick review. The King Room w/Kitchenette at the Admiral Sim’s house was the perfect spot for us for our Newport 4 day getaway. Very clean room, clean bathroom with everything you might need for your stay. Kitchenette was just the perfect size for everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, location is fantastic to get anywhere around Newport. "We loved our stay at Lookout Loft, it was super clean, exactly as pictured on VRBO, comfortable, easy, clear directions for parking and check in. The location is fabulous, right above a store on Thames St, so we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We had no issues with outside noise at night, we all slept great! We would definitely recommend and return!"

"The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Newport. Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Overall, I will give this spot 4/5 only because it could use a little TLC but, it is all minor! The yard is super quant and cozy. My wife and I used this spot for our small elopement. We had just around 25 people at the ceremony, food was catered in. The spot was just the perfect size for an event like this! The beach is a 5 minute drive over. "

"I had a nice room on the third floor with two comfortable beds and an ocean view. Clean bedroom with mini fridge and microwave. Hotel is easy to find and lots of parking, some of it covered parking. The fellow who checked me in was cheery and efficient. There is a gym on the 3rd floor and an indoor swimming pool on the lobby floor.
