"The hotel is adjacent to the naval shipyard and its numerous museums and historic ships. Its also an easy walk to the train station. Nearby is a very popular mall with plentiful dining and shopping options. A prime location to spend a couple of days exploring Portsmouth."

"Being on the ground floor, the room above had very creaky floorboards and was very noisy, had to put toilet paper in my ears so i could sleep. Have stayed here several times but always been on an upper floor. Will bring earplugs next time incase"

"Just returned from our one night stay and overall it was a pleasant stay. Room was spacious, bathroom good size. Just felt like it could have some TLC as the wooden Furniture was scraped a lot. But it was clean and slept well. Duvet quite thin but there’s a rug in cupboard that I used and it was lovely and warm. Breakfast was fantastic - very well organised! I loved that you sort the toast. Parking is free and was the reason we booked hotel. If we’re in Southampton again will return. "
