"The property is unique thanks to the owners (Marina's) keen eye both interior and exterior design. The pool is relaxing and beautifully maintained. The rooms are all unique again showing the owners discerning eye. Being in the west bank of Luxor it is ideal for exploring the Valley if the Kings, Hatshepsuts mortuary temple ect all being within 15 minutes drive of the hotel. A driver can be hired for 4 hours from reception. All in all this is one of the most captivating hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Alcohol is not sold on the premises but you can bring your own alcohol and consume on the premises. If you want a change to the conventional mundane modern hotels then i cannot recommend the Djorff Palace enough."

"Our stay at Amon Hotel has been really amazing and quite memorable. From the service we received, the friendliness and welcoming of the staff, and the beautiful rooms and courtyard making our stay one of the most memorable and lovely times since we’ve been in Egypt. We also really enjoyed the food that was prepared (breakfast and dinner), making it very easy and convenient to have a meal without having to leave the hotel. The cost of the hotel for us was very reasonable. The staff were really nice and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a hotel for anyone staying in Luxor. It’s a ways out from all of the bigger and busier areas making our stay that much more relaxing and pleasant. Thank you for an amazing experience!"

"The Royal Mountain Hotel is not in the centre of Luxor, but its position on the edge of the desert near the Valley of the Kings means it is quiet and has beautiful views of the nearby mountains. Khodry and his team are very helpful, with excellent English, and organise good-value tours and guiding. The pool is clean and well-maintained and the hotel food is tasty and authentically Egyptian. Portion sizes are large. The family suite was huge and brilliant for the kids. All in all we were very happy with our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay here again. "

"I had a lovely stay and was treated like a princess by Mahmoud every time my meals were served, meals so large it was impossible to eat it all Massive room and great air conditioning and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to the main tourist historic sites . My luggage was damaged and a repair service was used to get me back to Cairo and onwards back to Dunfermline, Scotland "
