"Paula & Peter are excellent, welcoming, thoughtful hosts. The property is extremely well appointed, very clean, well located (being close to Ponsonby Rd) and certainly dog friendly. "I am really pretty easygoing. Two lights not working? That’s OK, I can still see. No dresser or drawers to put any clothes? That’s OK, I can live out of my suitcase. The safe does not work and they have no intention of fixing it? Well, that one was disconcerting because I have two months’ worth of cash to worry about, but that’s OK. "Our apartment was a bit small (tight around the bed and furniture), but it was clean and functional. It's not this property's fault that we had just stayed a week in Melbourne in a comparably priced, yet more comfortable apartment. The location is fine as Auckland is a small, walkable city. Just a few things worth noting for anyone considering a stay: 1. The kitchen is under equipped for cooking (i.e. a bowl, a larger flat pan would be a good add). 2. There is no air conditioning.
