"Fascinating architecture -- a textile factory that's been done up. It has exposed ceilings and huge windows. It's clean and the bed is comfortable and the staff are kind and the kitchen was well-equipped, except for the coffee maker. I loath the 'expresso' makers that require a coffee capsule - it's just super-expensive instant coffee that gives you the fake feeling that you're a barista, and the resulting cup is disappointing. "The Hotel is relatively difficult to access using public transport - the nearest bus stop is "Freiheitsweg", some 15 mins walk from the Hotel. That aside, and now knowing how best to access the hotel using PT, I would highly recommend the facility, given its excellent credentials for which I have given an appropriate rating."

"Check-in and the reception service were fine. The breakfast in the morning was great. The room, however, reeked of smoke and was really dated. I’m not sure how they justify €200 per night. The location is lovely and great for a restful break. We stopped off for a day off on a trip around Germany as we knew it would be hot.
