The only thing I'd say is to be sure you plan ahead if you will rely on public transportation, as bus schedules can be limited on weekends/evenings. "We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

"Its ok. No air-conditioning but the weather is not hot too. Also, no elevator to 3rd floor where i stayed. So, due to climbing of a long staircase, I have to get all my stuff for the day everyday before going out to avoid climbing multiple times a day. Although, The room is clean and comfortable."

"Excellent, clean and fanctional medium-sized room & complete ensuite for 1 or 2 pers. Easy check-in process and helpful staff. Occasional but very minor noise from road traffic / train outside but not an issue. With backpack / luggage: only a 15 min walk to Koblenz Hbf. Only a 7 min walk to the SW edge of 'Old Town'. And excellent hotel: thank you! "

"Buses right in front of the property. Easy to get groceries too! There’s a mall across the street — good for some quick shopping. Love the convenience to get food nearby and even some drinks by the hotel lobby. Toilet sliding door can be smoother. The damaged marks on the walls are evident. Other than that, love it! "
