We enjoy touring old mansions and so we were delighted when we came across the Alexander Mansion while doing a google search of nearby bed and breakfasts (We live in Minneapolis). The check-in with Richard was fun and easy. Richard provided several dinner recommendations and made our reservation once we decided where we wanted to go. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well designed. The mansion was a step back in time. Richard provided an excellent four course breakfast. We are excited to return as soon as possible. We plan on bringing friends next time to enjoy the space. "

"Mirror Lake Lodge was the perfect place for our 60 age group of 14 former college friends and spouses. The entire house was beautifully decorated and abundantly supplied with everything we needed, and more. The place was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and lake view was gorgeous. Booking the whole house was great for our group. Some visited in the large living room, some in the kitchen, and others upstairs in the extra apartment-style area. Three bathrooms really helped accommodate our large group. Our only regret was only booking for just one night. We should have stayed the whole weekend!"
