Great hide-away
House was overly big for just my fiance and I - brother in law and his wife had to back out unfortunately. But the stay was fantastic. The house seemed to be a central location for lake George village and Bolton landing . About a 20 minute to drive to either from the house. ( Primary reason for visit ) House was very clean and equiped well for a weekend get away with easy cooking. We stayed in the largest of the 3 bedrooms ( king bed ) and was very comfortable - great size room. The other bedrooms seemed on the smaller side but who cares ? ( We didn't use either of those rooms beds so can't speak on comfort for those rooms ) The river feature was really cool! But the water level was high during our stay - seemed a little too "rough" for a swim. But was really cool to walk down the path to the river for some relaxation. Would be a great swimming spot when water levels are appropriate. Only things to note that aren't necessarily "bad" per say were that the house is set way back off the road and can be a little creepy driving down a long dark drive way covered by trees if you're not used to it, the house has almost no natural light during the day that we noticed and the WiFi can be a little shaky at times. Overall would highly recommend and would stay again if visiting the area !

Friends Weekend
This property pleasantly met and exceeded our expectations. It is clean, well maintained and accommodating. There is ample room to spread out and have some privacy. The cabin is very quiet and peaceful. There is virtually zero noise for sleeping. A short trip down a path leads to the Schroon River. We caught and released a good amount of bluegill, small mouth bass and several beautiful brown trout. Accommodations for a picnic are there if that’s your flavor. Our party of four truly enjoyed the cabin. It has much to offer and does not disappoint.

Beautiful, secluded cabin in the woods
Had a great time at this secluded cabin. Had campfires by the cabin and riverside, which is a short walk through the woods. Fished and tubed down schroon river and had our morning coffee in the screened-in riverside tent.

Lovely cacation cabin!
This cabin was great!! Extremely clean home, beautiful property, and heavenly beds. The kitchen is well equipped, and I loved reading a book by the cozy wood stove. It is about a 5 minute walk down to the river, which is gorgeous. It's really well decked out with seating, firepit, grill, screen tent, hammock, and swing. Communications with property manager, Vacasa, were timely and well informed, if a bit impersonal. I think some kind of software is handling most of it. But when I texted about the wifi, a real person answered and they were pleasant. The only challenge was connectivity. There is almost no cell connection out there, and the DishTV system was struggling to provide 5 mbps on the wifi. I recommend switching to Starlink. Loved it, definitely recommend, and would stay again!!

Beautiful!
The pictures are an accurate depiction of this property. A short walk down to the river would be perfect in warmer months. The home is adequately equipped, including the kitchen. A fire pit outside is a nice touch for a evening glass of wine. Stores are close to the house. The only thing was there was no coffee. So, bring your own Keurig coffee.

Great little getaway
Overall our stay was very comfortable. The house was very clean. We only stayed 3 nights. We were not able to truly enjoy all the different aspects due to other activities we had going on. We did ask for early check in although we were given it we were told too late in order to accommodate travel time. My in laws did leave some items behind and we did get them mailed back to us which was great. The dryer just as a note did take a very long time to dry clothing in case someone is in any time crunch. Overall ot was very pleasant experience we would stay here again.

Cozy and Comfy
The house was beautifully kept. All the amenities and plenty of space. In a quiet town, very scenic and close to Lake George away from the business in the village. Took us less than 15 mins to get to and from. Nice diner nearby for breakfast. Was very happy with our stay.
