The Cottage on Lake Waconia- stylishly remodeled this year with 70' direct lakeshore. Close to 3 wineries, 2 breweries, and a short boat ride to historic Coney Island. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms-plenty of room to spread out. Sleeps 8. Private dock with kayaks to use. Pontoon and fishing boat available for rent. Large deck with panoramic views, and a separate boathouse with screened in porch right on the water. Well behaved dogs allowed. Full kitchen w/ all the amenities for your family gatherings.

A small neighborhood on the quiet side of the lake.

Parking available for two vehicles. Limited street parking.

Initially it was great. Cute & clean. Went downhill fast over a small issue. Owners showed up at the door and called me r*tarded over the small issue. There is also a rooster crowing every morning at sunrise.

Wonderful spot with room for the whole family!

Family Recharge
Perfect home for our family of four. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen and plenty of places to relax both inside and out. Conveniently located and very peaceful. This was our second visit, but not our last!

Celebrating a Birthday
Our group of three sisters and their spouses were very impressed as we entered this lovely home. Its description and photos were exactly what we expected. We really enjoyed beautiful Waconia Lake. This lakefront home has well-groomed yards, along with comfortable patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Equally enjoyable was its spacious interior. Thank you to our friendly host, we had a great time! We highly recommend this property!

Great stress relief getaway!
We had a wonderful time at this VRBO. The weekend started with the search for the hidden room which was a fantastic way to kick off our fun time. All the bedrooms were very comfortable; it was great to all have separate baths. The deck was our favorite place to hang out, have a frosty drink, listen to the waves and watch the chickens strut around. When it got too chilly outside, the livingroom fireplace was perfect for the rest of the night. Our hosts were very friendly, personable, helpful and willing to answer questions. The fresh eggs were also very much appreciated. We'd definitely recommend this property and plan to return!

Family lake stay
Relaxing home right on the lake with close location to trails and downtown Minneapolis. Our dog loved sitting on the deck and watching the free-range chickens. Owners available to answer any questions. Would definitely book again!

Incredible Lake Home
Completely remodeled lake home with upscale finishes throughout. We enjoyed a very comfortable and cozy stay. (We did need a hint from the host to find the “secret bedroom”, but glad we found it).

Wonderful cottage with beautiful setting
We had a last minute change in our women's getaway and we were lucky enough to find this lake cottage available. The views were wonderful from the many windows. The beds were comfy, the cottage was clean. Great kitchen with everything you would need. We rented a pontoon and had a relaxing day on the lake. Hiking nearby along with wineries, breweries and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The owners were very responsive and helpful. Thanks, Dave and Tracy

Beautiful house! Lots of places to hang out. Very comfortable and well-provisioned. We all got a kick out of the hidden bedroom! We hope to rent it again someday!
