"This is a beautiful house with a spectacular kitchen, overlooking Hilo Bay and favorite local surf spot. Feels clean, comfy, and tropical. This is our second stay in this lovely spot. Thank you Randall for such easy communications and hosting. It’s only a five minute drive into Hilo. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We highly recommend it."

"We had a great stay! The house was clean and roomy, and the location is very close to the national park. Volcano is one of my favorite areas in the island, and this was a perfect way to experience it overnight rather than than just as a day trip."

"House was great, plenty of room. Lots of fun things for the family, bikes, pool table, etc.. Nice to know host was close but didn't need anything. House is not far from the coast which is nice, bit of a drive to store, etc..Very quiet and peaceful, especially in the mornings on the big deck."

"This cozy home was ideal for our 2-night stay to visit VNP as it was very close to the park entrance. The home was well-equipped for our stay; however, the grill did not heat up to a high enough temp to allow us to cook steaks we purchased for dinner. We had to bring them in and cook them under the broiler. The outdoor spa was an added plus for our grandsons. "

"We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again in the future. The location offers a private view of the ocean, to be enjoyed in a clean, warm jacuzzi. We saw plenty of sea turtles in the water and some dolphins too! We also found the drive to Volcano very reasonable and convenient. The hosts are wonderful communicators and provide everything so it's like you're at home!"

"The house was nice and just like it was pictured. The frogs are loud so if you have trouble with outdoor noise that could be an issue. We had no problem. The windows in the upstairs bathroom are a little odd with them being so exposed. There is no curtain for the windows. The street between the house and the ocean can get active with people. The view is wonderful. "

"This location was perfect for exploring the national park and the southern end of the island. You can be looking at the Kilauea caldron in less than 10 min from the house! The house is cozy, and beautifully built. We loved sitting out on the back porch and watching the family of pheasants peck around every morning. It was a bit musty smelling, and could use a deep clean but the price is pretty low for the location and all the space you get."
