"Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful house, Kaethe the owner and her son are such lovely and helpful, make you feel comfortable straight away.
