If yiu want quiet, then this is not the best place as being walking distance from everything, there is a lit of foot traffic with boisterous drunks at night. The bed is a bsic sprin matress that was ok, but the pillows were just sad. They had no firmness and just sank under any weight. Even with two of the stacked and folded, they just feel weak. "We stayed in December and once the house had warmed up it was very comfortable. There was lots of space for everyone and the big living area with its fireplace was great for spending time together. The house is old, so some doors and locks are a little out of joint, but overall the house is in good repair. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful."

"This chalet is a little bit of hidden away magic. The grounds it is set in are like a Monet painting - lake, water Lillies and flowers. We loved it. The chalet is well designed and comfortable."

"Need an email with a code to open the lock box to obtain room key. I had to wait for another patron to open the box to get mine. The emailed code arrived 2 hours after I moved in. It was warm so we opened the windows only to be smothered by cigarette smoke from below. We could not park the car in the garage without the keys in the lock box. "It is quite a charming hotel..It has a very warm atmosphere The reception was excellent. The receptionist gave us information about the hotel and the city. It was a great welcome. The hotel has no laundry service. That is the only inconvenience I found but I can manage. I highly recommend this hotel. It has an excellent dining room with great menu."
