Perched in the heart of the Huasteca, Villa Café y Arte is a rare find just 8km outside the magical city of Xilitla. The villa sits on 18 acres of rainforest, coffee, and fruit trees with breathtaking views in every direction. Rise above the clouds and enjoy some local coffee from our balcony, or a sunset view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace, after a long day exploring Xilitla and all the wonders the region has to offer. Villa Café y Arte is a private home nestled in the lush rainforest mountains of the Huasteca region just east of the town of Xilitla. As you arrive to the property, you will see a huge white stucco entrance with an iron gate. The two story house has a total of 5 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms and the main living/kitchen area on the top floor and 2 private suites on the bottom floor. Each of the private 1st floor suites has its own bathroom and shower. The main living suite (2nd floor) has one bathroom that is shared between the the 3 bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms in the main living area (2nd floor) have access to a terrace with mountain views. Please note, the 2nd floor bedrooms are detached from the bottom floor bedrooms. Please note: at this time there is NO washer/dryer. Please plan accordingly. Guests will have complete access to the entire property during their stay, including nature trails. It is not in a neighborhood and there is no transportation from the property to the town (though you can take a cab back to the property from the town of Xilitla). We are available virtually to help you answer any questions you may have during your stay. We have a maintenance team available with advance notice - remember this is a remote region. This house is not in a neighborhood and sits on 18 acres of lush coffee and fruit growing mountain land. Please keep in mind that internet in this region can be at times intermittent, we are lucky to have any internet at all. Please plan ahead for not having the best or consistent internet that you may be accustomed to. Please also keep in mind the following: electricity in this remote region can be unstable at times, especially during storms. The grid system for the Xilitla community is not the best. While we don't expect you to have any issues during your stay, intermittent blackouts can happen during electrical storms.
