"This is the second time we have stopped here. Last time, great - no problems, but this time was awful. We arrived very late (06:00) due to delays. Check-in was fine as the day shift had started work! When we opened the room door, we were greeted with the most awful reek of cigarettes. The room just stank☹️. Obviously the hotel staff were aware of the problem as the window was left wide open. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if we had checked in the day before and the window...

"We arrived at the hotel in the middle of a snow storm so we were pleased to have got there without incident. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there. The room was large and pleasantly warm, it was very cold outside. The patrons are very pleasant and welcoming. There is a bar attached to the hotel and it was good to get a drink on arrival. "

"We have stayed here before because is is convenient for driving to the Alps. The auberge is clean and comfortable and the welcome is great. Food is simple but well cooked. "Associated with a unique factory making artificial flowers for renowned fashion labels. Ancient factory still as it was when built in 1903, using its own water driven machines and electricity generator. A tour was included during our stay. Although somewhat isolated, access to restaurant services available within 10 to 15 minutes by driving to the external road, outside the boundary fence, of a motorway service area and passing through a pedestrian gate to shop as required. "

"Annulation faite au dernier moment car aucunes réponses aux mails, ni messages vocaux téléphoniques de la part de la gérante. Il m'a fallut appeler la mairie de la ville pour apprendre que cce gîte est fermé pour raisons administratives depuis plus de un an. Pour me faire rembourser du montant prélevé, il m'a fallu appeler ABRITEL puis la mairie de nouveau. Une vraie galère. J'attends mon remboursement."

"Just a fantastic find off the beaten track, in an idiotic location. Hotel neat and quirky, with great size, comfortable room opening out into the scenic grounds. Restaurant first class, wide choice of dishes, every thing perfect. Friendly staff who were helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend fora relaxing break or over night stay on the way south. Also good value and quality."

"The receptionist was friendly warm and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and the best shower of our whole trip. I only wish there had been a kettle in the room to make a coffee in the morning. The food in the restaurant area, next door was wonderful. Again, the receptionist helped out in the breakfast room which became a little hectic but was nevertheless all that we needed. A very pleasant stay and I would happily stay there again. "
