"Hotel staff were friendly...claimed to have upgraded our room from the room we purchased only to place us in room 205 where I was greeted by an army of mosquitos. I managed to kill FIVE before complaining to the less than surprised reception staff and finally being moved room despite initially being told there weren’t anymore available rooms in the hotel. "When we arrived at the Azaria Hotel, we discovered that a man named Samson or Samuel had sold our reservation to another person, so we were left stranded. It was a really traumatic experience. Corruption at its best. Also the pictures of the hotel do not depict what the hotel actually looks like."

"This hotel is the perfect place if you want somewhere quiet and cute. The service was quick, the food was delicious, there is a pool with fabulous seating underneath trees as well as in the direct sunlight, and the environment was very professional. The rooms are on the smaller size, but they are very clean and functional."

"The hotel is great, extremely well run with very good food including the chicken “ triangle “ pies from the cafe in the lobby which for 5000 Naira are awesome and a meal in themselves. Roof top pool and facilities were excellent. It’s not a problem of the hotel, but of Lagos that you feel you can’t just go for a walk outside the boundaries of the hotel. Saying that everyone I’ve met in Lagos has been friendly and courteous. "
