"This is a very fine hotel in the best traditions. The hotel is located in the Central business district in Cape Town. This is very handy if you are visiting the city Centre. It is also conveniently located just across the way from the Co) gardens which are lovely to walk in and also have a nice café. The service in the hotel is excellent. I always try and get a room with a mountain view because that is really great. The breakfast is excellent. There are other dining options in the hotel. You also have all of Cape Town very easily accessible to you. She is one of my favourite hotels to stay at. "

"The property is well set up so that one can park opposite one's flat in a secure safe place. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful and the security was excellent."

"The Commodore was a great hotel with easy access to the V&A Waterfront. Amazing location. Great staff. Nice pool area. Our room was a suite - light and airy with a nice balcony and view towards Table Mountain. "

"Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem I had, I was given a room where the A/C did not work and they had a small fan in the room. The fan was not big enough nor strong enough to cool the entire room."

"Just a lovely place to stay. My only complaint was that the food menu was very limited, especially since I didn’t want a 6 course meal. Options were limited and cobbled together 2 appetizers as a meal. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience. "
