"Great little apt hotel in a residential area within a 20 min walking distance to St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum though the cobbled streets are prohibitive to walk in a wheelchair. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is included on the upper floor and has a great view. Shower is tiny but has great water pressure. "

"Great place to stay. Lots of space. We had an issue with one shower causing lots of water on the floor but they came the next day to address it. That was appreciated. Note there is no lock safe in the suite. That was not told to us. But I would still highly recommend it. "

The hotel is in an alley between two busy streets, though this added to the charm of being so near the activities. It’s an old building, in a very old city. Better than expected. "We walked to all locations and many times were out till early morning hour, felt safe. 5 minute walk to the Vatican, great little restaurant just below the apartment. Apartment was tastefully decorated as other rentals we have stayed at in Italy. We loved our stay and will return.."

It can be a little noisy during the day and early evening, ear plugs are provided. But that is to be expected since you're in central Rome. "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. The apartment is located in an older part of Rome with the narrow cobblestone streets. Very close to a few sites. We walked everywhere, most sites within 30-45 minutes. Highly recommend for a little touch of authentic Roma experience. Two very nice restaurants next door and “across the street”. Basheer was very responsive and helped with transportation to and from the airport. "

"Our family enjoyed staying in this large apartment near Termini, Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colosseum. The apartment is close to public transportation, shops and everything you need for your stay in Rome. Bonus that Regoli bakery is around the corner!The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking ng and the outdoor patio was an added bonus."

"Our room was too small, we mentioned our issue to those wonderful folks at the front desk. Next day we were given an upgrade at no charge. This particular good-will gesture,customer service, was so appreciated during our week-long stay. Love Augusta Lucilla Palace. We travel through Rome twice yearly and book ALP at least once a year since COVID. Grazie Mille"

"The position of the hotel was perfect for sight seeing. The room was very well appointed and clean. The bedding was of high quality. Loved the complimentary fridge, water and soft drinks replenished daily. Shampoo’s, conditioners etc also replenished daily. Our room was very quiet as we requested. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
