"A very good stop. The people at hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It was not that far from motorway and even easier when we left going south. We ate dinner which was great - classic French but straight forward cooking. The bar was also used by the locals who all seemed very friendly!"

The city was full of history, from their famous Langres cheese, Diderot & history of cutlery manufacture. The owner Pascal & his wife were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. "We kwamen binnen in een warm huis. De houtkachel stond all aan. De eigenaar had zelfgemaakte wijn voor ons klaargezet. Het huis is fantastisch groot en schoon. Alles wat je je kunt bedenken is aanwezig. Spelletjes, keukengerei, hangmatten en niet te vergeten heerlijke bedden. Er zijn 4 slaapkamers, met 4 tweepersoonsbedden. "The hotel was lovely, in a great location. The food in the restaurant was absolutely spectacular; one of the best meals I've had in years. Some of the decor in the hotel is a bit dated, there didn't appear to be spare pillows, and we had a separate loo with no sink, so you had to go around to the main bathroom to wash your hands. Apart from these two issues, would have given five stars."
