"I chose this hotel because of its proximity to estadio bernabéu so my daughter and I could walk to the Taylor Swift concert and not worry about taxi’s etc. We had a suite which was very large and lovely with a huge terrace. "Good 3-4 star hotel. The room was a bit small but very clean and convenient. The subway and bus station are right across the street, making transportation easy. "We could not have picked a better hotel. It was centrally located so we could walk to restaurants and theatres. The staff, especially the concierge group, was helpful and responsive. It was clean, and had very large rooms by European standards. The description had said the rooms were soundproof, which I really didn’t believe could be true in a city center hotel. "As other reviews have stated, the hotel is currently under construction so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was really surprised! The construction seemed to have been going on for awhile so everything looked very new and modern. The rooms smelled recently renovated and were very large and comfortable. There was amazing shower pressure and they left us chocolates everyday. The only issue I had, which honestly I barely noticed, was that the flights would flicker on and off every so often but never permanently. I assume it is because of ongoing construction. Staff was kind and the breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of options. The location is a little further from all the main sights. It took us about 20-25 minutes to get there from the train station. The royal palace was about 10 minutes away walking. The subway station is right across the street. Huge mall on the other side of the hotel. There was almost always a taxi waiting outside also so transportation was not an issue. Great comfortable stay. "
