"Our stay at MUWA was 10/10. Stunning hotel with a beautiful spacious room overlooking the slopes. Right next to the snowboarding base which was perfect for us. It’s a bit of walk down to the restaurants and food trucks and an uphill walk back to the hotel but not an issue, kept us fit :D"

"First time staying in a pod. Basically a dorm with a plastic accordion screen. You can hear everything. Not for light sleepers. This property was easy, good shuttle service during the day. Ends at 6 which can be problematic. 15 minutes from gondola. Big grocery next door and some restaurants within a 10 minute walk. If I stay there again, I will get a regular room"

"Beautiful property and facilities with high-end finishes and design. Excellent food (breakfast) and good restaurants. Only downside is that there is no walkable "local" area to explore. The hotel is self-contained but isolated, and one needs to take the shuttle to Hirafu to be in town. That said, it was a wonderful place to ski in and out of, with fantastic service and amenities."

"One of the best hotel I ever stayed Room: Larger than the normal you would find in the city. View: We got the wonderful lake view and we can't be more happy with the beauty in winter. "This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. "Perfect Family Getaway at AYA Niseko ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of four, including two energetic kids (9 and 6), had an amazing stay at AYA Niseko during the low season. While many places in the surrounding area were closed, we actually loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It gave us a chance to fully enjoy the tranquility of the area and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. "We had a great time at this hotel. It’s perfect for family ski trip. The lift was a few steps away and rental facilities were inside the hotel. The views were spectacular and the staff so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant food was really good, and we loved their breakfast buffet. It snowed the whole time we were there so it felt like you were inside a snow globe! "

"You need a transport to get around. There is only 1 small resturant within walking distance if you are not planning to have all yoir meals in the hotel. The nearest dining area is about 20mins drive from the hotel. Oversall it is a very beautiful hotel with large space."

"Staff was really helpful to check and advise on JR train information even it is not their responsibilities. The hot spring was very well maintain and comfortable to use. Dinner and breakfast buffet variety is very good. The lake view is perfect also !! "

"The property was very new and modern with a full kitchen including all essential utensils and cookware with easy access to Annupuri base area as well as a few places to eat. It also had ski storage in the basement which was convenient. The only negative is that there were far too few accessible outlets in the unit. I counted 3, 1 in the kitchen, in the bathroom and next to the bed. For new construction that was surprising and disappointing. Other than that it was very comfortable and nice. "

"Exceptional property. Best equipped kitchen I have encountered yet. From an insertion blender to two toaster ovens to enough pots and pans to never run out and a huge refrigerator freezer. You even have a sake cup set. You will find everything you need here. All rooms have brand new (May 2024) ductless split type A/C units that work great. The house is spotless with an excellent floor plan. Large Toshiba TV (HDMI ports available) with Satellite and a Blu-Ray player. Internet is 40Mbps down,...

"We stayed at Fryingpan for 5 nights and it was truly lovely. The shared bathrooms are very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast every morning was western style but delicious. A very short walk to the Annupurni gondola and lifts. Above all of the wonderful accommodations were the lovely people and staff we met while staying there. I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality and the friends we met while staying there. Amazing place run by wonderful people. "

"The Niseko Ski Lodge lives up to its name--a rustic ski lodge. The staff were super friendly, and international. Upstairs rooms mostly share a bath, but we had a room with a private bath. The pre-fab bathroom was tiny and weirdly placed with a ~10" step up. Room size was good, but it was stiflingly hot with the radiator heat. We were unable to turn it down enough to get a comfortable temperature without opening the windows. Getting to Niseko Village gondola base (not the main base by the Hilton) was a trek--15 mins. I carried my skis and boots to make it more reasonable to walk. Bus is a 5-minute walk, but infrequent enough that walking was preferable. Food was adequate--not particularly good or much variety, but OK. "

"The host was so kind and generous. We had arrived 1 day before our scheduled booking, by my mistake. The host offered to let us wait in the lobby for a taxi, and when he found that we could not get one as it was late at night, he offered to drive us to the nearest 7-eleven, in his personal vehicle, after hours. We were so grateful, and would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great experience. No cons whatsoever. "
