"Property was a bit difficult to get to and in a location not near other attractions (except for the beppu ropeway area). The hotel itself was excellent. The concept was unique and the rooms were great. It was fun discovering and enjoying all the artwork hidden throughout the hotel grounds. Breakfast and dinner options were both diverse and delicious. Ich war begeistert!

"Das Ryokan ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ist aber gerade deswegen so charmant. Alle waren äußerst zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Es war ruhig und sauber. Das Frühstück so liebevoll serviert, ich habe es geliebt. Den Onsen im Haus habe ich nicht probiert. Die Lage der Unterkunft im älteren Teil Beppus ist super und sehr authentisch. Unbedingte Empfehlung für echtes Japan-Feeling. "

"Nice hotel and staff hospitality was great. Our 2 days stay include dinning and was given difference menu for the half-board. Hotel include onsen for public. If you need private room, you need to book a higher end room. Only setback is the train station is about 15min walk away. Not great if you have too many luggage to carry. "
