There is free parking nearby. They emailed the front door code to the multi-level building, which you will need to get in. There is no staff or front desk on site. "We were delighted to find the space as described, directly at the lake with an amazing view. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Communication with the host was great although confusing at times as we also received communication from a German property manager in German ahead of our stay. It all worked itself out perfectly and we had an awesome stay. I especially want to recommend the restaurant below the apartment called Seesicht! Excellent food, service and view!"

"This is a wonderful apartment in a delightful town. It is biking and swimming heaven. The apartment is spacious, light and airy, and even though the weather was very hot it stayed cool. "Wir beide haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Empfang durch den Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Während des Aufenthaltes gab er uns gute Tipps zu Ausflugzielen, Einkauf etc. Das Appartement war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und lag zentral, direkt in der Altstadt von Markdorf. Vom Balkon konnte man sogar eine kleine Ecke des Bodensees erkennen. Alles in allem ein sehr runder Urlaub."

It is a short, 5-minute walk to the beach – which includes the ferry stop, a bakery, a small steakhouse and several other shops and cafés. A larger supermarket is only a 10-minute walk away. The hosts were extremely helpful and gracious and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable.""

"Even though we didn’t speak much German, we could communicate with the host through VRBO and the messages were translated. We appreciated the lockbox entry so we didn’t need to arrive at a specific time. There was free parking behind the house. Unfortunately we had a massive van and we couldn’t fit it in the parking area, but the host directed us to another spot we could use. There were three spacious bedrooms, and a well supplied kitchen. There was a large bathroom and a nice patio area too....
