"Tasty food paired with good views and a short ferry ride from Hiroshima. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. They had many amenities and a nice, calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation and a soak in their Onsen. They offered a complimentary ride to and from the ferry, and made sure I made it to the port on time. (Otherwise a 10 minute walk) would recommend to a friend. "

"Lovely stay - as a first time visitor to Japan, it was great to have a night at some more traditional lodging. Iwaso was beautiful and the service excellent. The fixtures in the private bathroom in my room were somewhat dated but everything was very clean, and I really used the Onsen anyway - also, the historic/classic styling of the property was what I wanted. "Fantastic hotel and service. You will immediately feel the warmth of this place the moment you first step onto the property and greeted by the front concierge woman. The women that checked us in was absolutely perfect for this position. She was caring, spoke very good english, and even upgraded our room to a world class ocean view room. I would only stay at this hotel if i'm in Hiroshima again."

"The location was super convenient for everything we wanted to do in Hiroshima. It was incredibly comfortable especially considering the price point. The staff were very helpful when we needed to print some Shinkansen tickets. The room, while still small, was still far more spacious than our other big city stays. Great size and layout. We also loved the bathroom. Definitely would stay here again. "
