Swahita is easily accessible to the ubud market, however location can be quite deserted esp when returning back to property in the night. Service provided by the staff were excellent as it seems like we were the only guests during our stay.

I had a wonderful stay. The room is very comfortable with a powerful hot shower and plenty of space to spread out. I felt safe staying here travelling as a woman on my own. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I hope to return one day soon!

We stayed at Swahiti for 4 nights and yes while the building is dated it is extremely clean comfortable and the surrounds peaceful. The pool is amazing to cool off in, after a big day. BUT it’s the staff that make Swahita special. They are the most exceptional people you will ever meet. Friendly courteous helpful and even in a 4.9 earthquake they remained calm and informative of what we may need to do. Even when they were very busy with a full house, their service never altered. You won’t be disappointed.
