「Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. 「Clean big rooms with beautiful views」

「The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. 」

「There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all.」

「The pillows was very hard to use. Bathroom does not have a light. Blanket not comfortable to use, it was those heavy blaket. We were given a plastic teaspoon to use. They ask us how much did we paid before they gave us a room. But they welcomed us. They were so friendly. 」

「The stay at ATKV Eiland is amazing. Good value for money, and wurth every cent. Tidy and clean. All the facilities is there to keep you occupied and busy. Or else you can just relax next to the clean swimming pool with the restaurant right there. Table tennis, jukskei, bowls, all available. Will definitely be spending more time at this resort!!!」
