"Payment was commensurate to the room i got. TARI the receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. Location is walking distance to the entrance and along the way are shops for religious articles and restaurants. Safe to walk as the street to the hotel is frequented with people who are also on pilgrimage. "

"I was volunteering in Lourdes for 5 days and needed a reasonably priced place to stay. The Villa Mariale was the best price. I realised that I had stayed there some years before, when it was called something else. It hasn’t changed much, but at least, this time bath towels were included. I didn’t cook, but there was a fully equipped kitchen area if you wanted to do your own cooking"

"The manager whilst seemingly polite was inattentive and did not check the room booked was available. Offered alternative room that was not suitable but we had no choice but to take it. I was offered a refund but it was not forthcoming and still hasn’t been received. "

"We had a fantastic holiday! Our hosts were attentive, accommodating and engaged us in the local community. After a few hours we felt very much relaxed, welcomed and at home! It was brilliant swimmming everyday in the pool and the numerous sitting areas allowed you shade and/or panoramic sun! Our children loved the little river at the end of the lane and were mezmorised by the Dragonflies and lizards. The BBQ was brilliant and the local restaurants were fab! We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. "The property has not been maintained or checked for cleanliness prior to occupation. Mould on surface of dinner plates, bowls requiring cleaning prior to use. Strong odor of urine in living room, dank smell from kitchen drain, mold . At check-in we were told to purchase our own toilet paper! No paper towels either.Mosquito infested outdoor sitting area precluded its use and no screens on any windows or doors."

"Suffering from cold for a month. Was surprisingly warm and spacious. We were so glad for it. Vincent was easily approached. No Uber services so he managed to provide for taxi at time of leaving. Peaceful place of Lourdes and I will carry that feelings to home and hopefully stay with it."

"This property is fantastic. It is well placed and very private. The garden is superb with thought and detail put into it. The couple who rents it are lovely and responsive to any questions or issues. I highly recommend renting this house!"

"I enjoyed my stay here for the following reasons: Staff members Claudia and Tess made our stay for 3 nites memorable. We had to use an assessable wheel chair that was stored safely every nite. We were greeted friendly every morning and evening, The entire hotel staff were marvelous! I would recommend staying here for your Lourdes experience!!!"

Good hotel in a great location.

"Great hotel close to the Grotto. Hard to find due to only a small sign near the door. The one way road doesnt allow you to see the writing on the building at night so you might drive past it a few times. Public, paid parking a block away at the river. Good breakfast and lots of stores opened up after 10 am. "
