Plush Residence is in a great location. That really was the only “plus”. It was a nightmare to get in to the suite. First, the code provided didn’t work to get into the building. After someone let me in, I go to the suite 1012 to find it locked. I called 2-3 times. No answer. I emailed and no response. So walked back to Union Station to try to sort this out and potentially look for another location for the night. Finally, someone called me back and stated the door was jammed. She’d re-set it and it should be fine. So I walk back, only to find code still won’t work to get in the building. I sneak in as someone comes out and go up to 10th floor suite 1012 at 14 York St. and the suite is unlocked.
Once inside, I realize the suite smells. The floors were streaky, like they’d washed them with dirty water and they were sticky in spots. The carpet in bedroom was disgusting. The unit walls were worn, dirty, scratched. This place was not fresh, it smelled, and was dirty. Linens were clean, thank goodness, but checked for bed bugs (there were none!) and saw condom wrapper under the bed. The blinds were falling apart and tv didn’t work. I could go on. I would not recommend this property.
