Amazing location and Hosts
The seclusion, beauty and privacy of Michael and Lyne's property is second to none. It is simple an amazing and secure place with tons of activities in the area. They are awesome hosts and invited us to participate in many of their activities - including turtle nest hunting and incubation...;) and some 4wd exploring through the many acres of this beautiful area - with spectacular views and wildlife (Cayman, Birds, Monkeys, Turtles, etc..). We are very thankful they make this beautiful property and experience available. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Michael and Lyne!!!

Beautiful private beach!
Newly built guest suites in secluded jungle location. The location is fairly remote but if you want to get away from it all, this is the place. The ocean is very warm and the boogie boarding is awesome. Lyne and Michael are very gracious hosts.

You hear the sound of the ocean, so ocean front(but many trees, in front of your view,) on one side, and the jungle on the other… it was amazing

Simply paradise!
We spent three days with Lyne and Michael and it was simply way too short! We loved everything about our visit! The deserted beach, the gorgeous pool, the delicious food and of course the exquisite accommodations. Lyne and Michael have built a beautiful home/guest house - they've thought of everything to make you comfortable. We spent New Year's Eve on the wonderful patio enjoying the sounds of nature. We loved the seclusion, we truly felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. If you are looking for a party scene, keep looking but if you want unspoiled nature, a quiet beach and 5 star accommodations - this is your place. We will be back!

Peace & Quiet
We stayed with Micheal & Lyne for 13 nights at the beginning of February We chose their place for the remoteness and for the capability of being able to cook our meals on site The beautiful sandy beach was less than a minute away from our room and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night Most days we were the only people on the beach Micheal & Lyne were very accommodating hosts and can be very proud of the facility that they have created The breakfasts that Lyne served every morning were fantastic we didn't have the same thing twice If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax this is the place You can do as much or as little as you want to do

Great hosts, beautiful beach, comfortable apt.
We greatly enjoyed our week-long stay with Lyne and Michael. They are gracious hosts, very helpful and thoughtful with great attention to detail. Everything is very well-maintained. The apartment is very clean and modern; it's above the garage across from the main house. The kitchen and king bed are in one large room and there is a sofa to sit on. The bathroom is spacious. The outdoor seating area is large and covered so can be enjoyed even in the rain. Lyne makes delicious breakfasts and we enjoyed lively conversations with Lyne or Michael over breakfast. The pool is perfect for swimming and relaxing. It was the right temperature to cool off and it's long enough to swim laps. The beautiful beach has fine sand and is lined with coconut palms and other trees. We were often the only people on the beach. It's a safe beach to swim and we loved our beach walks. There's a platform with chairs tucked into the trees to sit and enjoy the waves and sunsets. Lyne arranged for us to spend a day birding with a local man who is a wonderful naturalist and good companion. She also arranged for a day trip to snorkel at an island with white sand, turquoise water and colorful fish. Both were very fun outings. Lyne put up some holiday decorations in the apartment and we enjoyed that festive touch. We would happily stay here again!

The BEST place in Panama to kick back and relax
The part of Lyne and Michael's BnB that we stayed in for 10 days is a lovely spacious studio with kitchen facilities and an amazing bathroom in a separate building from their residence. It's over the garage and also separate from the live-in housekeeper, so you have all the privacy you desire while being close to the pool, ocean and rainforest. This place is spectacularly beautiful and remote (but there is nightlife nearby(. Lyne is a superb cook and breakfast on the terrace every morning was delicious and filling, and cooked to accomodate our requirements and preferences. We arranged for Lyne to cook us dinner one night and it was awesome. She even made ice cream for us with our supplied sweetener. Spotlessly clean and with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay, we would heartily recommend this BnB to anyone looking to enjoy Panama's amazing beaches, weather, flora, and fauna. Any item that we felt we needed was supplied quickly. The housekeeper was always unobtrusive but kept the place beautifully. There is a toaster oven, microwave, full fridge and an outdoor two-burner stovetop, as well as having the use of the main house's BBQ. The beach is a two-minute walk but other than my daily beach run or walk, I spent most of my time on the deck beside the lengths-pool, on comfortable and attractive outdoor furniture. One night, we gathered enough driftwood and coconut coir and had great bonfire! Lyne is full of information about their locale, local customs, where to eat, where to shop and even where to get an amazing 90 minute massage in the middle of the forest for a mere$30. All in all, this was one of the most memorable vacations I have ever enjoyed and we will happily return - hopefully not too long in the future!

A beautiful property and a great location. True jungle living with only a short walk to the beac
First of all the house is definitely out of the way but Michael held our hand the entire way and then came to the road and helped us get to the property. But once he showed us the way it was easy to find our way going out on adventures every day and back again. The house was set up with everything that we needed for our stay with a beautiful front porch that we could sit at night and watch the monkeys climb around the trees. The host taught us so much about monkeys in their habits it definitely turned into an educational vacation also. The beach was such a short walk from the unit and once you get on the beach if you saw one or two people you would be lucky. I can honestly say out of all my rentals I’ve done With VRBO Lyne and Michael we’re probably the best hosts. Michael would take time each day to answer any and all your questions you have about the surrounding area. Lyne also made breakfast one day of granola and fruit cup and then when we were leaving had banana muffins so we can eat them on the road. Just try to picture walking out of a dense jungle with all kinds of animals and within 30 feet you’re on a sandy beach watching the waves roll up on the shore. I’ve only been gone two days from their beautiful home and already I’m looking forward to the return trip as soon as I can make it. Tina and Dave

Relaxing Beach vacation
We had a fantastic time here! The location is perfect! The House is surrounded by jungle and is right on the beach. The suite is airconditioned and beautifully decorated. The property is extremely well kept. The beach is beautiful and empty most of the time. It was ideal for swimming and building sand castles. Our daughters (aged 11 and 13) spent a lot of time swimming and playing on the beach. When they aren't on the beach, the rest of our time was spent swimming in the pool! It is longer than it looks in the picture and even had a deep end for diving. Lyne and Michael were gracious hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area and were willing to answer our questions and point out local wildlife. We saw capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, lizards, iguanas and even baby caiman crocodiles. They were our favourites!! Breakfasts were excellent and filling. Lyne and Michael helped us to arrange for surfing lessons at a nearby Beach. We had an excellent vacation. Thank you very much for sharing your piece of paradise with our family!

Incredible beauty and really fantastic hosts!
We loved our stay here. The location is remote and off the beaten path. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful. Beach is fabulous and pictures don't do it justice. Breakfast was great and Lyne went out of her way to accommodate my dietary needs. She also cooked us a diner and made us a special vegan dessert which was delicious and so thoughtful! Both Lyne and Michael are really wonderful people that we felt instantly comfortable with. They both were both so fun to get to know and did so many little things that just made our stay so wonderful, they're great to talk to, so informative and they just can't do enough to help, you just feel right at home. This area of Panama is truly untouched and absolutely gorgeous. We would go back in a heart beat and the long drive from Panama City airport was part of the adventure and definitely worth it. You will love it here!

Paradise Beach
We absolutely loved our stay at Lyne and Michael’s guest house. Our family of four (including our two daughters ages 9 and 11) stayed in their upper guest house for four nights. Their house is tucked away in the jungle only 30 steps from the beach. There are only a couple of houses on the beach, so most of the time we had this gorgeous sandy beach completely to ourselves. Our girls loved playing in the waves, digging in the sand and beach combing. We also used Lyne and Michael’s boogie boards to play in the waves. In the afternoons, we would spend some time reading in the hammocks or taking a dip in the pool. Every evening we watched fabulous sunsets at the beach, since the beach faces west. The guest house was incredibly clean. We slept on a comfortable king size bed and the girls slept on a double bed. There was a large bathroom with a large tiled shower. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, toaster oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, and two element hot plate. Outside is a two element gas grill. We typically cooked our own supper and ate lunch in the nearby village. This is a bed and breakfast, so every morning we ate Lyne’s delicious breakfast next to the pool. She was very responsive to any dietary issues or food preferences that we had. A family of monkeys came to visit the property twice while we were there and Michael taught us how to interact with them. Lyne arranged a snorkeling morning for us off the Cebaco Island (the man who took us picked us up directly on the beach in his boat and we brought our own masks and snorkels). Lyne also arranged a surfing lesson for us at a nearby beach with Ezekiel. He was an excellent instructor and we all had a blast trying to catch a few waves. My daughters were naturals at surfing. I am not not a natural, but still had fun. For lunch we would eat typical Panamanian comida plates in Torio or other nearby villages. The lunches were $15-$35 US for the four of us. We would highly recommend this rental. It definitley exceeded our expectations. Lyne and Michael are incredible hosts.

12 days in heaven.
We and our three daughters (15, 18 and 20 years) stayed 12 days at Lyne and Michael´s place and we all loved it. The house is set beautifully in the jungle just 25 meters from a pristine and virtually deserted beach - I believe we saw six other people on the beach during our stay. The house is very comfortable and well kept and each morning L & M served a great breakfast in front of the pool. (On Christmas eve we even had some champagne to go with the orange juice :)). Lyne and Michael are great hosts - very nice people who are helpful if you need info about restaurants in the area, help with arranging things like renting a boat, booking surfing lessons and so on. If you´re looking for a top notch place set in a beautiful and tranquil place look no further! Thx for a great stay and hopefully we´ll be back in a not too distant future! Jens and Maria Vahlquist

Secluded escape to tropical paradise
If you are looking for private, secluded retreat in a tropical jungle paradise, look no further. From the beach being a stone’s throw away from the private guest house to the romantic sunsets, this B&B met and exceeded our expectations. This hidden gem, tucked away in the Veraguas Province, is an outstanding vacation destination that's worth every bit of the drive. In fact, the drive from Panama City was an adventure and allowed us to experience and view the country through the lens of a local resident. Lyne prepared a delicious feast every morning that fueled our three days of exploring, relaxing, and unplugging from the lightning pace of everyday life. Nothing beats enjoying a hearty breakfast with the soothing sounds of the ocean and wildlife in the background. I can still hear the waves crashing against the lush, natural, black sand beach. Overall, Lyne and Michael’s hospitality was first class. From the day of our arrival, they checked on us to ensure we made it safely, provided us with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and shared their vast knowledge of the local area. Michael was very thorough when it came to helping us navigate the area and know when and where we could see the exotic tropical wildlife. Our only regret is that our stay was entirely too short. We look forward to revisiting Lyne and Michael's little slice of Panama paradise where we will have to extend our stay to at least six days!

I would highly recommend this place!
Without a doubt, this one is my favourite relaxing vacation. The owners were personal, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Michael and Lyne are great hostesses!!! Did I mention Lyne is a great cook. The room was charming, beautifully decorated, spacious, cozy and clean. The bed was bigger then a king size bed and very comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size with 2 sinks and a WOW hug shower, again so clean. You can hear the waves from all over the property, so peaceful. The beach is maybe a minute from my room. You down a beautiful short stairway to a wonderful all natural dark sandy beach with palm trees all around, also little hermit crabs, breath taking to say the least. I will definitely return some day. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazing Panama oceanside vacation
One week of listening to the ocean waves will have me return to this wonderful, secluded place. A perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The guest house is elevated with a peek view of the ocean . It is immaculately kept and in good working order as is as the rest of the property. A daily swim, weather in the pool or the ocean, is a refreshing delight. Truly in their element Lyne and Michael are exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable hosts. Lyne is a great cook especially those mango desserts; yum. I definitely recommend this b&b to any nature lover. Looking forward to a future visit!!

awesome secluded beachfront paradise
Lyne and Michael are terrific hosts, and their property is a beautiful spot with the secluded beach literally just steps away. The roar of the ocean is awesome and soothing. Everything is very clean. The pool is refreshing. We had fun visiting the surrounding towns and beaches, and had a great guided hike in Cerro Hoya. We really enjoyed our stay, and were sad to leave!

A jewel on the Pacific
In the modern apartment on Lyne and Michael's property, we were surrounded by wildlife and tropical birds. The sights and sounds of the Panama forest filled our days here, only a few steps through the forest path to the Pacific Ocean. The expanse of beach and warm tropical waters were an absolute joy. I can't wait to return and enjoy Lyne's restaurant quality food.

The Best of Panama!
We spent several wonderful and relaxing days in Torio. The beach house was new and had all the tech wonders of home and it all worked great. There is a nice pool to relax and read, and a few short steps away is the most beautiful beach that you have entirely to yourselves. Lyne and Michael were fantastic hosts. Lyne went out of her way to facilitate activities for us in advance, as well as after we arrived. We enjoyed Tuna fishing - we slayed them - and horseback riding and exploring, all at a very modest price. The breakfast were a wonderful way to start the day. Overall a highly rated destination and we can't wait to return!

Serenity Now!
My brother and I chose this place purely as a good guess after doing some internet research of the area and reviews, and it was a great call. We had a wonderful time. The area is remote, but there are ample things to do in the area. It's very peaceful and quiet, with only constant sound of the waves hitting the beach. My biggest regret was not bringing along speargun, because ocean and structure in front of house has lots of fish. Lyne and Michael were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and gracious hosts. They set us up on a Yellowfin tuna fishing trip that picked us up right off the beach, and our guides kept us hooked up virtually all day, for a very reasonable cost a fraction of what I'd have paid in Tampa. The beach itself was virtually deserted, which was nice and a change. We also had a long horseback ride through the hills, river and along beach that was just stunning in terms of scenery. We had a wonderful, fresh breakfast Lyne made and served to start every day, and a nearby surf hostel had an outdoor eating area and bar that was convenient and close. The guest quarters where we stayed was very clean and comfortable. We had great WiFi connectivity (very poor elsewhere), and there are a number of local restaurants close by that serve simple but delicious food and beverages. The chickens strutting around in the small local hamlet were evidence that everything was served fresh, as were the herb and vegetable plots growing everywhere. Finally, the countryside and the view are just beautiful. My brother and I have some very envious Facebook friends. We are very much looking forward to returning there.

Paradise!
This place is paradise! The house is so close to the beach that you can hear the waves crash!!! The room is incredibly private, clean, and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how little the bugs were an issue, considering you're in the jungle. The owners are very friendly and approachable, and wow can Lyne cook! She makes a different breakfast everyday, and it's made fresh and it's always delicious. The beach is 90% private! It was amazing to walk this perfect beach (half a kilometer-ish) alone, while watching the waves crash and the sun set. Each end of the beach is framed with big rocks that I loved walking around on when the tide was low, and when the tide came in over the rocks the waves were huge! The owners built a platform on the beach under the palm trees for shade and have those fancy gravity chairs for relaxing in. I have already told all my friends and family to go, you can't keep this place a secret! And within a week of being home I was already thinking about my next trip down. Happy Vacationing!!
