"The hotel was very convenient.If you arrive early the hotel will hold your luggage. The room was very spacious compared to Japanese standards. The room was clean. "Nice place enjoyed the location, central to skiing areas both resorts and backcountry. Place was very clean and enough room for a group. However, there was no extra blankets or pillow cases for all the extra pillows. Rooms were noisy from the vents when the wind was blowing. Plus there was a coffee make for one person, it would be nice to have a larger coffee make and two hot water kettles for tea etc. Just didn't seems like it was set up for larger groups. Good onsen hotel

"A good hotel with onsite onsen (separate public pool for male and female)as well as 3 private onsen. And they have free icecream and light supper. Service may not be tip top excellent but still good. It at the edge of the city so having a car is advisable. "

"We had a great stay at Fenix West. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious w a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful Mountain View. We especially appreciate the shuttle services to and from town, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and easy to plan. There is no Onsen in the hotel but there is one conveniently in the hotel across the street, which kind of solve the issue. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel "

"Very cozy and beautiful boutique hotel with great attentive staffs. Onsen is quite the standard. Room and general areas were very clean. A little far to walk to and from the parking area but it is only because we stayed during the snowy season. Otherwise, all perfect and will go back if i plan anything at furano again."

Convenient and Good service.

"Hotel has change owner recently thus name was changed. It provide free shuttle bus from asahikawa station return trip was a bonus. The room is abit dated. But outdoor onsen was great ! The buffet dinner and breakfast was better than my previous stay. The hotel is just beside the waterfall. If the room could be refurbish, it will be a fantastic stay. 2 nights dinner buffet was almost the same thus it will be good if different menu was provided. "
