"This house is huge and has lots of different indoor and outdoor gathering spaces so the kids and adults in our group of three families didn’t have to be on top of each other in one living space the whole time. Big firepit area and huge lawn were great, and we enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. There’s a place to buy fresh crabs, oysters, and shrimp very close by, and the house has everything you need for a crab night. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind."

"What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!"

"We wanted an overnight on land after a regatta. I misjudged the availability of Uber In Cambridge. End result was a 50 minute walk from the marina. Early departure meant 50 minutes back. Nice apartment. Didn’t spend much time there but got a great shower and comfortable bed. Host was great with communication."

"This was our 4th stay at Fishing Creek. Kelli's property was by far the most comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. There was a complimentary bottle of wine on the kitchen table, drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, everything needed to make s'mores. The game room was a hit with the kids, and my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee in the screened in sunroom. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to stay here again the next time we are on Hoopers...

Updates to the house were nicely done and I love that checkout was simplified to two to three tasks, not a whole laundry list. "I like holiday inn hotels because breakfast is excellent best hotel breakfast I had. Room was clean except the toilet wasn't as clean and the shower head was so poor and water was extremely hot no matter where I put it at. Didn't like the the sink being out of the bathroom and didn't like the adjoining door between the rooms because you can hear people talking next door not much of a privacy. The room wasn't smelly like some of other hotels I've been to. "
