"Check in was very simple and they upgraded our room at our request with us simply paying them the difference directly. Pros: This is an older property, charming, good quality clean linen, clean mattress (I always check seams and headboards for critters). Cons: Since it is older some of the walkways and steps are worn and could be difficult for someone unsteady on their feet. It was apparent a previous customer had smoked in the room but it was not overwhelming. The plumbing for the tub was slow and paint /caulking needed maintenance. Overall for the cost of the stay it was very acceptable. "

"I had an excellent stay at this hotel and was extremely satisfied with the accommodations, cleanliness, location, and overall property. The only drawbacks were that the elevators were out of service during my stay, which made carrying luggage down the stairs a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there were no ice machines on the floors, and ice had to be requested from the front desk. Unfortunately, the ice machine was also out of order for one day. On a positive note, coffee was available in the mornings in the lobby, which was a nice touch. However, it would be great if tea bags and hot water were also offered for non-coffee drinkers. Despite these minor inconveniences, my experience was very positive, and I would stay here again."
