The attention to detail at this property was exceptional. The footlights go on automatically as you walk up the path at night, the kitchen is fully stocked if you decide to cook in, a bottle of water for each of us nice and cold in the fridge, the jars of necessities in the bathroom. If you wonder why one of these jars is filled with ear plugs, welcome to the farm where roosters crow at dawn! The earplugs work so use them unless you have an alarm to hear.
The place was super clean and comfortable with views of the animals out the windows.
The owners were welcoming and offer a tour to introduce all the rescued animals. It was a lot of fun. A highlight for my daughter.
The location is close to Sequoia. Note: entrance booth was not open the first day we went (around 7am). You have to scan a QR code to pay. BUT there was no internet service. So best to take care of it online ahead of time if you plan to enter the park early. Otherwise you have to go to the welcome center, get on their wifi and pay that way- but take a screen shot for future days you want to enter the park.
The only issue we had was with the shower. You turn a knob to start the water and then adjust a sliding plastic ring behind the knob. Only problem is the Hot and Cold are opposite. Turning to the right makes the water hotter, not colder, like most showers. The water gets VERY hot, so be careful.
Otherwise, the Tiny House is an excellent place to stay!
