"Perfect property for a small family getaway. Quiet enough for a nice sanctuary, close enough to food and hiking for plenty to do. Only recommendation, for a family of four, is maybe two twin beds in second bedroom. Loved the hot tub, pond and atmosphere. Kids fell in love with neighbor cows too!"

"The property is nestled right in a corner with woods as a backdrop. It was SO clean on the inside and everything was well maintained and accomadating. A seperate little bunkhouse was the perfect getaway for my teenage boys, who each got to stay for a night. There is an "outhouse" which has the modern needs, including an insta-heat hot shower. "This cabin was perfect for my husband and I! We are able to relax and enjoy the quiet. The location is secluded and quiet yet perfectly close to the winery and lake areas. We were also able to bring our dog and he enjoyed the woods and sitting on the porch with us. It was a great time and we plan on returning!"

"Overall, we loved Santa's Lodge. The staff was great, it was clean, breakfast had a nice variety of choices, and the big yard was great for playing outside. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the pullout beds. They were terribly thin, uncomfortable and loud. If you don't need the pullouts, the rooms were fine. They're dated, but clean and comfortable. But if you need the pull-out for someone to sleep on, I'd book two rooms next time instead. "
